Brazil Leads FDI in Latin America

According to ANBA: The United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) said on Thursday (10) that Brazil was a nation in the region that received the most foreign direct investment (FDI) from January to August. According to the organization, the country attracted more than $ 39 billionThe total, however, is 10% lower than the same period last year. 
 
ECLAC reports that the decline occurred mainly in the steel industry, food and beverage and financial services sectors than last year "recorded significant business acquisitions."
