12/5/2012 - Brazilians will pay 16.7% less for electric power under the government's energy reforms to be introduced in January. According to President of Brazil, Mrs. Dilma Rousseff, the government's goal was an average reduction in the amount of energy tariffs for the population of 20.2%. However, the decrease should be less (up 16.7%) due to the refusal of some companies to join the government's proposal.
